This lovely clean and comfortable cottage has loads of character, is in a convenient location and has a very welcome bea

Nothing! The shower is small and you need to kneel, but when this cottage was built you bathed in front of the fire, so that’s just history!

We felt the owner didn’t want to help at all, quite difficult, maybe we caught her on a bad weekend

It’s in Lyme Regis, which is cool, not quite where it was suggested, but fun to be in the town.

The photos don’t convey the vibe of the cottage which is more student digs than funky seaside town property. This wouldn’t work for four adults, the sitting room is tiny, you wouldn’t be able to watch a film on the tv together. Referring to a rear ‘garden’ is supremely optimistic. The fridge wasn’t really clean and we washed the glasses as they were a bit grimy. We have no problem with an old kitchen and no dishwasher but no one had made sure it was good to go.

Lovely cottage, great location and helpful host.

Lovely cottage and great location right in the centre of town and 10 minute walk to the beach and the beach hut. We enjoyed eating out in some of Lyme's great food options but also cooking in the small but well appointed kitchen that had all the basics we needed. Host was really quick to answer our questions and we would totally recommend Valentine Cottage as a great base to explore Lyme Regis/Dorset from. Hopefully we'll be back soon.

El encantador edificio histórico, bella y funcionalmente decorado, en el que se ubica el cottage y la comodidad de disfrutar de la cabaña de la playa.

Prefiero las duchas y sólo había bañera. Pero las vistas desde el baño eran maravillosas. La escalera estrecha en para mi familia no era un inconveniente, pero sí lo será para personas con baja movilidad.

The beach hut was great, a real treat.

Wood chip paper, bunk bed, terrible water pressure, difficult shower arrangement. No welcome pack, not even a pint of milk.
