The house was clean and very roomy with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The screened in porch was a hit for enjoying nice weather, and the neighborhood was quiet. Having a garage was also a nice touch. Our host was great with communication. The house was close to beaches and tourist attractions. As a homeowner, however, I think the house could use a little TLC as to trimming the shrubs, trees, cleaning windows, and leaky drains.

My husband and I were traveling with our lab, and this house was perfect for our time away. The location made it easy to visit the beach, the Hermitage Museum & Gardens, and the waterfront in Norfolk. The owner was a pleasure to work with and provided quick responses and excellent restaurant recommendations.

We had an awesome time in that house. It had enough space for all of us and was in a really good location. 10 min to the airport, 20 min to downtown and fort Monroe. And the outdoor patio was awesome. We will keep this in mind when we return.
