About this cabin rental
Real log cabin right on Lake Harwinton. Beautiful natural wood walls throughout with a modern kitchen, updated bathroom, and flooring throughout. Pets are also welcome with a paid pet fee. Here are the highlights:
> 1 Bedroom with a Queen bed with super comfy mattress plus 2 large easy chairs and 2 child's cots in the living room.
> 2 Smart TVs (bedroom and living room) and wifi throughout the cabin
> Kitchen with stove, fridge, and sink and all dishware, cups, silverware, etc provided
> 1 Bathroom with shower, sink, and toilet
> Enclosed sun porch overlooking the lake - great for rainy days, board games, etc.
> Dedicated workspace with a desk and chair overlooking the lake
> Large back deck with a BBQ and seating, again over looking the lake
> Backyard fire pit
> 2 kayaks + paddles and life vests - launch right from the back yard
> Dock - great for fishing and swimming
This is not a place for large groups, but it's great for a family or a couple looking for a romantic getaway
Sheets and towels ARE included with your stay. They are washed before and after every guest. We also provide a starter pack of paper towels, toilet paper, toiletries, cleaning products, soaps, detergent, sponges, k cups, nespresso pods, and tea!

The cabin was as stated, we enjoyed the lake and had a fire every night and family for a picnic, will rent again next year.

Very nice spot on lake. Hosts were great and responsive. Cabin is small but nice and clean. Not a lot of room but well laid out for enjoying the lake view and has everything needed for a cozy getaway. Pet friendly and our pets loved it. Surprisingly the allowed area for dogs to walk outside is very limited with close neighbors property and no walking on the paved roads. Kayaking around lake was beautiful and easy. We would visit again.

The house overall was nice. However it said there was a spa on the property which is the #1 reason why we booked this property. There was not a spa. Also said there was a 2 person kayak and a single. There was only 2 singles which was OK. The neighbor let us use his. This property had no curtains, which allowed the neighbors to look right inside. Could also benifit to have a gate on the porch and a fence between properties, as it's a dog friendly property, as is the neighbors home. No grilling tools for the charcoal grill. The bathroom had a little smell. But according to the neighbor, it had septic problems that are supposed to be fixed this year by the HOA. The bed is extremely uncomfortable. The lake is beautiful, the people are really friendly. I'd go back again if these things I've listed were taken care of.
