We stayed at Villa Anemoni for three nights in July, and our stay was absolutely wonderful.
Upon arrival, we were able to park our rental car in the villa’s private parking area. We were warmly welcomed by the very friendly owner, and there was also a lovely welcome surprise waiting for us.
The villa had everything we could possibly need. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the necessary cooking utensils, as well as olive oil, coffee, sugar and paper towels. There was also water and juice waiting for us in the refrigerator when we arrived.
The beds were very comfortable, and the air conditioning could easily be adjusted to the temperature we preferred.
Bathrooms were well equipped with soap, shower gel, shampoo and plenty of towels. The entire villa was exceptionally clean.
Our two teenagers especially loved the stay and felt wonderfully spoiled during our time at the villa.
The pool was very pleasant. The other guests were polite, quiet and respectful, and even the children were calm and well-behaved, which made the atmosphere very relaxing.
Villa is also within easy walking distance of the beautiful old town of Panormos. The village was especially charming in the evenings, when the narrow streets come alive with little cafés and restaurants. There are several souvenir shops, a few grocery stores and plenty of different restaurants to choose from.
Our stay was truly wonderful, and we would definitely recommend Philoxenia Villas to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable place to stay.

The local ground manager, Manolis, was excellent, very hands-on, attentive and even provided suggestions for places to see and visit. Property was clean, well designed and presented. Perhaps, additional coffee and bedding service could have been provided.
Quite isolated from main towns and sites. Local business were closed very early, so difficult to shop and or find food or entertainment nearby.

The accommodation is presented and appointed as the photos show which is very good.
The wifi is good and the local town is fabulous.
You cannot use the pool between 2.30pm and 5.30pm on any day. See attached photo.
Unfortunately other guests decided to ignore this, as well as to leave their own young children unattended and misbehaving. Therefore as a result we were effectively unable to use the pool facility.
Subsequently the manager was spotted staring at us from a distance, which unnerved my children.
The manager/owner pointed to his many fine reviews when I raised this with him.
An apology would have been more appropriate.
We found the master bedroom mattress too firm for our liking. My wife and I suffering back pain.
