Josiane et sa petite fille ont été aux petits soins pour nous. J'avais l'impression d'être dans la famille et non chez une inconnue. Nous avons été accueillis avec un jus d'orange et nous avons discuté de la vie. Josiane est profondément gentille et Courageuse. En plus d'avoir passé une nuit plus que correcte, avec une chambre bien pensée pour une famille de 4 personnes, je n'oublierai pas la personne que j'ai rencontré.
Merci pour tout, promis on se reverra !

Everything..
The host and her granddaughter are nice and friendly.
The whole house is clean and well kept, they have nice garden and table outside to have meal while enjoying the beauty of the garden.
They allowed us to use their kitchen to cook our meal, and the kitchen have complete cooking utensils.
The property is about 10/15 minutes drive to Amiens and not too far from Calaise. We stop here and stay for a night before heading to Calais.
The room and the sleep was comfortable too.
The breakfast was really good. The croissants. There is a really nice bakery ad well nearby.

The breakfast was a nice continental including juice, fruit, coffee, fresh breads and croissant, buttermilk cheese, jams and honey, the host asked ahead what kind of party we would like. There was parking available within a fenced in section of the facilities. It was very quiet.
I would say this is not a good place for older people. Access to the room is up a narrow and twisting staircase and you must bring your own bags up and down the stairs. Secondly, the facilities are in the attic area with strongly sloped roofs so you have to duck your head down when trying to do thinks there. And by the bed. The bed was not comfortable and felt it had a plastic topped mattress cover which added to our overheating at night. I could see no way to circulate air or open windows to get some air in to counteract the heat rising from below. It made it difficult to sleep. Finally, I am very sensitive to smoke. There was the small of old smoke in our quarters and in the lower breakfast room. Perhaps it was from previous guests of parties, but I found it u pleasant. This may be a better fit for younger people who can manage the stairs. There is a king bed in one room and two small beds in another room.
