The location was very good.
The bed is incredibly uncomfortable, the doona was also just sitting between two sheets which is very poor for what we paid. There is no air con in the main bedroom.
Dealing with the booking people at Bedspoke was tedious and repetitive. I got asked the same thing multiple times, and their online check in process which you have to complete only works if you're a US citizen. Even though I paid the deposit as soon as requested and confirmed I had done so, every communication after that further requested me to pay the deposit ... and then they took multiple times of me asking to confirm they had received the deposit.
They also refused to provide me an invoice for the amount I paid, instead saying it is their internal policy to only issue an invoice for the amount they received (ie. after booking.com takes its commission). Booking.com confirmed that policy is wrong.
Bedspoke is difficult to work with so I would not stay at a place managed by them in future because it is such a hassle. It felt like I was being scammed the whole time.
