We had a very pleasant stay in this lovely apartment. The flat was very clean, neat and comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. The location is also very convenient, with the Overground and several bus connections just a short walk away, making it easy to get around London.
Communication was excellent throughout — quick, effective and friendly. Everything from arrival to departure was straightforward and uncomplicated.
About the surrounding area in Hackney: We really enjoyed the neighbourhood. It is colourful, lively and full of character, with lovely walks along the canal where you can happily wander for hours, while some of East London’s most vibrant and interesting areas are within easy reach. It has a wonderfully local feel and offers a rather different experience from the more touristy parts of central London.
There are plenty of places nearby to pick up something to eat or have a casual bite. We did find the choice of really good restaurants in the immediate neighbourhood somewhat limited, but with such good transport connections, there are of course plenty of excellent options within easy reach.
The only minor issue during our stay was the temperature. As we happened to be in London during some exceptionally hot summer days, the apartment became quite warm and the ventilation could only help to a limited extent. Given the unusually high temperatures, however, this was of course largely beyond the host’s control.
One small practical point: the curtain rod in the bedroom is a little unstable as it doesn’t seem to be properly fixed into the wall. You need to be a bit careful with it when opening the bedroom window.

The apartment was cozy, clean, well-equipped, and bright, with the added bonus of two bathrooms and a balcony with a lovely view. It is in a very convenient, quiet, and safe location, right next to public transportation and a cute green park.
