Property has potnential if kept clean, location was good as what we needed was close by.
I wish I could give zero stars. I arrived at this property to find it in an appalling state. As soon as we stepped inside, the floors were sticky and stained. We immediately took off our shoes, and within seconds, the bottoms of our socks were black from the filth on the floor. Every single bed had hair on it, along with stains and random bits from who knows where. The carpets were filthy, and the main bathroom was unusable due to a broken toilet flush, something we were never made aware of.
The garden was cluttered with rubbish bags and junk, and the toaster was covered in old food stains. To top it off, the microwave was not only dirty but also had a foul smell coming from it.
I contacted the property owner, who said he would pass the issues on to the cleaner. His response was a complete lack of accountability, simply telling me that "every cleaner has a bad day," which is entirely unacceptable. Even after I sent him photos, the owner refused to apologize for the state of the place and instead continued defending the cleaner, claiming she was "very good."
When I decided to cancel my booking due to the uninhabitable conditions, the owner still charged me a £65 cleaning fee, even though the property was already filthy.
I strongly advise NO ONE to book this place. The photos might look nice, but upon closer inspection, this place is absolutely disgusting. Save yourself the trouble and stay somewhere else.
