Comfortable perch in historical village of Grimentz. Just the right size for one person. Spotless. Fully equipped kitchen, with Nespresso machine. One of the earlier reviews here had noted the absence of a hairdryer; it now has one. Host agency was very responsive in replying to any questions/concerns (in this case, mostly by WhatsApp and email). Ask about the “Pass Anniviers Liberté” for free/discounted access to buses/cable cars in the region! It’s a 5-min walk to the Coop supermarket (open on Sundays!), great for stocking up the fridge.
I knew there was no balcony, but it would be nice to have access to outdoor space on the property, somehow (even just a chair on a shared lower-floor terrace?), as the window felt a bit small (though the view was nice!). The small corner shelf above the bed with a lamp is a nice touch, but too high to set things on; would be great to have a small table next to the bed (even a small stool).
