Overall, we had a very positive experience at Magic Home Torino. The apartment is spacious, well maintained, and exceptionally clean, with a separate bedroom, living room, well-equipped kitchen, and two bathrooms. The beds were very comfortable, and the memory foam pillows were a particularly nice surprise, something we rarely find in vacation rentals. The kitchen had everything we needed, including basic supplies such as oil, salt, spices, tea, and coffee, although laundry detergent and dishwasher tablets were missing. Communication with the property was friendly and more personal than what we usually experience with vacation rentals. The heating and cooling system worked well, and having an Aldi supermarket directly across the street was extremely convenient.
However, there are a few aspects that could be improved. The apartment has very harsh, cold white LED lighting that we found so uncomfortable we avoided using most of the ceiling lights. Sound insulation is also poor, and the bedroom is located next to an old, noisy elevator, which can be disturbing. The washing machine is extremely small, and there is no dryer. The location is approximately 20 minutes by car from central Turin, in a residential neighborhood that is not particularly attractive, although this was not a major inconvenience for us since we were exploring the surrounding areas by car. Free street parking is available nearby, but finding a space can sometimes be difficult. Despite these drawbacks, we enjoyed our stay and found the apartment considerably more comfortable and better equipped than many other vacation rentals we have visited.
