The apt was spotless and fully equipped, with a spacious patio and garden and large outdoor grill. But by far the best thing about Vivien is the owner/host Marin. His kindness & helpfulness was above & beyond in many ways. He picked us up from the Split bus station, took us with him on an errand run so that we could buy something we needed, and shared with us his Saturday family meal of grilled fresh fish, potatoes, cheese & sausages. He also shared a bottle of his family’s homemade olive oil - so delicious! The best rental experience we’ve ever had in 50 yrs of travel!

Der Vermieter hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen, stand uns jederzeit mit Tat und Rat zur Seite und hat uns sogar zum gegrillten Fisch eingeladen. Herzlichen Dank, ihr seid wirklich ganz tolle Gastgeber. Die Ferienwohnung ist genauso wie auf den Bildern. Es hat uns an gar nichts gefehlt. Alles ist sehr sauber, gepflegt und in gutem Zustand. Leider liegt die Wohnung direkt an einer stark befahrenen Hauptstraße, was auch auf der schönen Terrasse entsprechend zu hören ist - hat uns aber nicht allzu sehr gestört. Der Kieselstrand von Podstrana ist fußläufig erreichbar, Geschäfte und Restaurants in der nahen Umgebung.

The apartment was even nicer upon arrival than in the photos, so much so that I prolonged my stay almost right upon arrival once I saw how nice the place and the neighbourhood was. The whole apartment is modern and everything was very clean. The outside area is really nice to enjoy your morning coffee or do a little work on the computer during the evenings (as in my case), definitely the best "office view of the day" that I have had so far! The location is also perfect, both in regards to being close to the beach and close to several "quick and easy food stands," as well as being only a few minutes' walk away from 3 supermarkets, which is very convenient. The host was very pleasant to deal with and really accommodating, I felt right at home and will definitely be looking this place up again next time I visit Croatia. Would highly recommend. I think this would especially be a perfect place for a family due to the closeness to the beach and supermarkets, but as a solo traveller, this was just the perfect stay!

There is nothing I could fault really, the stay was just overall really pleasant.
