House warm and clean and homely. All the household conveniences we needed. Taastefully decorated
Kitchen very small. Bedrooms small. Proximity to other accommodation very close, so noisy neighbours kept us awake one nght. No access to the indoor pool and wellness facilities in this house. Yet the bookings system allowed us to book a swim and one person booked and paid for a £100 massage only to be turned away at reception both times. { With a 5 day wait for the return of the £100 paid]. This 2 tier system for access to the facilities definitely spoilt our stay and we would not return.

It was comfortable and clean.
Basic toiletries were missing like shower gel, shampoo, lotion, etc
Basic condiments were missing. There was no salt and pepper.
There was no one on call who could reach us within a short time if there was a need. I was stuck with and open front door as the door lock was stuck and I tried to get someone to come to fix it. I was told that someone can come to do it in an hour and half!
A description of all the walks and trails around the actual place would be nice. We discovered it late when it was time to leave.

Lower Mills Estate is better than Centre Parcs! Family friendly. Lots of amenities on site and nearby. The property itself was decorated beautifully, well equipped and centrally located on the site. Kayaks were provided. Owner was very responsive and helpful to any queries. Parking space very nearby which was convenient. Front and back garden meant we had sun most of the day.
Latch doors whilst aesthetically pleasing were noisy and fiddly to open. No buoyancy aids were at the property due to being in the process of being replaced at the property - but cheap to hire. The road outside could have a better traffic system to avoid congestion.
