Great place to stay just outside of Monsaraz!

This little house has it all. The renovations have been done tastefully and you know you are staying in an old building but with modern comforts. The kitchen has everything you need for a stay, the pool is perfect for a dip on a hot day, the bedrooms are comfortable with everything you need, the bathrooms are very well appointed. Great location, we found a cafe for our breakfast just down the street, and there are nearby restaurants (next door) if needed as well.

Peaceful, beautiful & very hard to leave - we will be back!

We absolutely loved everything about this fabulous place - the house itself is immaculately renovated with every comfort thought of - too many to name individually. The village takes you back in time to a more peaceful lifestyle & looking up to the walled village of Monsaraz is beautiful. It is a 5 minute drive to the walled village, less than 10 minute drive to the lakes & beaches - 2 minute drive to the shop in the next village. Unexpectedly good restaurants in the village - very reasonable & excellent quality. The only thing we don’t like is - having to leave!!!

Comfortable home with beautiful decor in a quiet location. Great and responsive host.

The host is absolutely wonderful, helpful and friendly. The lock box with the keys was a little challenging to open. We will return for sure and are already recommending this property and host to our friends

These are suggestions they did not detract from our stay. We will return for sure and recommend this property and host to our friends: 1. Add or provide the option of a mattress topper as the master bed mattress is too hard. I had to double fold the quilt and lie on it to sleep better. 2. Provide a sieve in the kitchen, juicer or lemon/orange squeezer and a small pot for boiling eggs or heating up small amounts of liquid. 3. Provide swimming pool towels. 4. Improve WIFI quality and speed.
