VLP Amorim is a fully equipped traditional two-story house located in a quiet area of Ponta Delgada—close to the center, yet away from the busy downtown. The entire home is available for families and groups of up to 5 guests, with everything you need to feel at home: a fully equipped kitchen, bed and bath linens, washer and dryer, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a workspace.
The private outdoor patio features a table and chairs for al fresco dining and a traditional built-in wood-fired barbecue—the perfect spot for a family Azorean dinner with local fish or meat.
Parking is easy and free on Rua Embaixador Faria e Maia, behind the house, with access through the patio. The location offers good accessibility: just a few minutes’ walk from the center, about 3 km from the airport, and quick access to the island’s main roads. Public transport and local shops are nearby.
Inside, you’ll find a living room with a sofa bed, two bedrooms (one with a bunk bed for children), a bathroom plus an extra WC, smart TV, dehumidifiers, and fans for the humid Azorean summer. A welcome basket awaits you on arrival. Up to two small pets are welcome at no extra charge.

Our visit to Ponta Delgada was very memorable. Pedro met us at the house for check in and his communication was excellent. Pedro surprised us by providing several cold waters, local fruits, beer, wine and juices and snacks for the kids. This was a great surprise especially as we had a day and night of travel. The house is very modern and has a very great layout. The outdoor space is very relaxing. The parking in the rear of the building is very convenient. Several local restaurants, bars and corner markets where you can get your own groceries. We really appreciate your hospitality Pedro and hope to stay at the house again soon. Cheers!
