Lovely villa spoilt by no water supply, and power cuts (+ lack of general maintenance)

The view is amazing. The villa is on top of a hill that overlooks the beach below.

The biggest issue by far was the water supply. At first we assumed occasional interruptions were just part of a hot summer in Spain, but it gradually got worse and became an issue fior everyone. Every day the water would randomly stop, making it impossible to plan showers, washing up or even using the toilets. Some members of our group went days without a shower because they happened to be out when the water returned. The situation became very bad during the final two days as we had no running water for almost 48 hours. Workmen came to “fix” the problem but actually made it worse. Because it was the weekend, nobody returned and we spent our final day unable to shower, flush the toilets, or wash dishes. We had to walk 500m to the Butterfly Bar to use the toilet, and ended up using swimming pool water to flush the toilets and wash ourselves at night. There were also several other issues which on their own may have been minor, but together made the villa feel poor value for money. The induction hob had shattered glass, making it appear unsafe to use. The electricity to the entire villa failed three times, usually at night (we worked out how to reset the fuse box ourselves). The power cuts also stopped the swimming pool filtration, leaving the pool full of dirt, leaves, twigs (and also a toad that seemed to have been living in the twigs / dirt). Each time we had to wait until the filters cleared it again. There is also a bench overlooking the viewpoint to the beach but it is unusable because the area is swarming with thousands of ants that immediately climb over your feet and legs - so we couldnt use it It’s a real shame because the villa is lovely, but the lack of mainraince / losing running water for completely overshadowed all the plus points. My parents are 80+ years old, and we had 2 young children with us. It is really not we expected for this kind of holiday accommodation.
