The Seven Chester

Hotel was as expected & advertised.

8 drinking glasses in the room, but only 1 (one) teaspoon. I drink tea & my husband drinks coffee, had to wash the spoon before making the second drink. Only one very small bottle of milk.On arrival you have a drink, not enough milk to make a drink in the morning. We went out & brought extra for the morning. The temperature tap in the shower was very hard to move, water was very hot during the day, the morning water flow was very little & water was cold. It would be nice to have a map of Chester city in the room or in reception to just give you a little start on what the city has to offer & where to find the sights.

Great location, close to Centre and castle wall. Modern bathroom.

Room was far too warm- had to have air con unit running all night with vent out of bedroom window. Limited hanging space.

Convenient for the crown court where I was working for the week. Very helpful receptionist .

Cobwebs all over the place, no air con, poor finish on sash windows , tiny bedroom area , toilet roll not replaced over the stay ( 5 nights) left a night early
