Perfect location to explore old Phuket the shops do shut and peaceful at night around 10pm
Just needs a little maintenance on doors from room to balcony and gates down stairs

The location is indeed really strategic as it is located in the middle of the Old Phuket Town. The decorations are really nice as well and they also have a large balcony.
I agree with the other reviews saying that this property is misleading, it is definitely not a hotel and more like an apartment above a shop. The self-inserted gate supports this even more and there was literally nobody looking after the accommodation. You have to do a self check-in (which is not supposed to exist in a hotel) and even though we have followed the instructions to do this correctly (the gate was really annoying to be opened), there was no key for the room we were assigned in and we had to call the staff, which came very lately. It was 8:00 PM and we were really tired, when the staff found the spare key and asked us to open the room, turns out the room was occupied and there were things of another guests over there.
They clearly said we were assigned there when they messaged us on booking.com and they cannot even get the room correctly. The staff didn’t even speak English and asked us to communicate directly with the owner.
The management of the hotel was so bad and it’s like they didn’t care about the guests.
