Location excellent for exploring Peak District . Great having own parking space . Clean and tidy . Nice quiet area .

It's a beautiful cottage in a beautiful setting - we stayed for one night after attending the Chatsworth Summer Fair (about 10 minutes down the road) but could have easily stayed another night or two. Lots of attention to detail throughout with the bedroom in particular being beautifully decorated and considered. We were also very appreciative of the bottle of prosecco left in the fridge which we enjoyed on the bistro set outside as the night drew on. The off-road parking is an added bonus and you're only a few minutes walk from the center of Bakewell by using the public footpath. It's also very dog friendly, as is Bakewell itself.
Perhaps could do with a restock of some of the pantry items like cooking oil, cooking foil etc but otherwise couldn't fault it

Great location and parking space
There was food left from previous guests. Only 4 coat hangers. Shower over the bath in an awkward place, so not easy to use.
