This was a great spot to stay for a long weekend in the Lake District. It had easy walking access to Windermere and Bowness-on-Windermere, and lots of space in the road to park a car (one of our main worries before arriving as we had heard parking in the Lakes can be a nightmare). It was a nice surprise to find milk, tea and coffee, and biscuits awaiting us upon arrival. The property was well-equipped, comfortable, and clean. We'd definitely stay here again.
It would be useful to have a second fan so that each bedroom can have one going overnight, as it can get quite warm inside. Otherwise, no complaints.

The property was in an a great location half way between the both halves for the town, the house had everything we needed a full equipped kitchen, very clean and tidy rooms and toilets. Also it was on a very quiet road.
If you have issue with walking or hips issue please be aware the hills are very steep around Windermere, there are a few of steps up to the property. But saying this I would still return to Daisy Cottage is the location is perfect.

Close to both towns, good parking
- Internet very slow, bbc and Netflix slow, hardly could use bbc
- Rust on the white bathroom holder and grim in tiles
- Window in twin room had lots of black mold inside so was unable to open windows for fresh air
- Couldn’t have a bath as no hot water, if this was possible, it was not left in instructions booklet
