Wir haben mit zwei Familien zwei schöne Wochen in der Villa Giacomelli verbracht. Maria und Vittorio waren tolle Gastgeber. Sie waren immer ansprechbar, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Villa selbst ist etwas ganz besonderes, die Ferienwohnung ist riesig, und die Zimmer haben einen ganz besonderen Charme. Die Außenanlagen bieten so viele Möglichkeiten, man kann den ganzen Tag in Bewegung bleiben oder einfach nur mit Blick auf die Alpen in der Sonne liegen.
Auch die Umgebung hat einiges zu bieten. Es viele Wandergebiete in der Nähe und auch Turin ist nur eine kurze Autofahrt entfernt.
Das Städtchen Mathi haben wir ebenfalls liebgewonnen. Es gibt eine nette kleine Bäckerei, einen guten Fleischer und mehrere Supermärkte, die man alle gut zu Fuß erreichen kann. Auch die Restaurants und die Eisdiele sind sehr empfehlenswert. Mathi ist sicher kein malerischer Touristenort, sondern einfach eine Kleinstadt mit netten Menschen, die sich echt italienisch anfühlt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
Es gibt an der Unterkunft nichts auszusetzen. Man braucht nur etwas Zeit, sich in der Wohnung zurechtzufinden. Sie ist einfach riesig!
