The cottage was close to the walks and other areas of interest. The bed was comfortable and the area was very peaceful and idyllic.
Unfortunately the cottage had a strong smell of cat urine which was very unpleasant. There were workmen banging all day in the back garden both days and we were not informed of this before our stay.

Comfortable and well-appointed cottage, kitchen was fully stocked, comfortable beds, cleanliness. Plenty of information about house and area provided by hosts. Quiet location in a small hamlet, but with plenty of things to do nearby.
House and back garden lost the sunshine quite early on due to its low location by the small stream. House is on 3 levels which can be a bit inconvenient at times. Lowest level (kitchen) was a bit damp and chilly sometimes. The road outside was quite busy at times, considering it was a narrow country road.
