The town is small but lively, safe and very lovely.
This cottage itself is unique. It differs from other houses in the neighborhood by its size, structure and overall appearance. It feels special, like a little fairy house, which to me is a good thing for a vacation. It also has a pretty large and well cared-for garden, mostly a lawn, but also a number of fruit bushes, old trees, and even a fruit-bearing grapevine. They allow pets, and there is indeed enough space for a dog to run outside. Even doggie-bags are provided.
Man can appreciate how much work and thought were put into this holiday cottage. It is equipped with almost everything you could think of. We stayed there about 5 days and didn't need to go eat out even once, because cooking feels very comfortable in this kitchen.
WiFi and TV connections worked surprisingly good, as did water piping and heating.
It is quiet and clean here.
Before you go to stay in this pretty cottage, you need to realize this is indeed a very small house. It feels a perfect romantic getaway for a couple, but I would not recommend it for a family. The upper level bed is only accessible via a ladder which we preferred to put aside for the stay, because it impeded access to the main bed side. The space for suitcases is limited. There are no wardrobes, however the Hosts invented some creative solutions for this - drawers, open shelves, space behind the doors etc.
It is quiet despite the fact that the property is located in a mixed neighborhood with some factories not very far away and literally adjacent to a railway. A funny one-car train goes up and down it once an hour.
We were advised by the Host to park our car next to the fence, but I found this particular spot somewhat tight, so we parked 20 metes away at a public parking lot belonging to a local institution. It can be full sometimes during working hours.
If you are interested in the city life and night bars, which I doubt since you chose Ried and not Munich, - take into account that this place is at least half an hour walking from the center, and public transportation here is very scarce. However, with a car you can reach any point in the town in about 5 minutes, most importantly the underground parking in the trade center which is also free for the first two hours.

die Buchung war ohne Frühstück, die Lage, das kleine aber feine Haus, der Hund wollte gar nicht mehr aus dem Garten
das Wetter, da es sehr kalt war, würde ich ein Heizpaneel in der Küche vorschlagen.
