It was the views in the photos that hooked us and the reality did not disappoint. Waking up to a full view vista of the water was lovely. Sitting on the deck was a pleasure listening to the birds and the odd boat. It was winter so the town is nice and quiet and we were fortunate not to have anyone staying in the larger apartment above. The kitchen was well equipped and the BBQ worked well. We just wish Mallacoota was closer to Melbourne to drop in more often....
The bathroom is functional but basic. It would be nice to have a mirror in the apartment at head height - I had to kneel to do my hair and makeup! One of the recliners didn't work but a dining chair worked fine as a foot stool.
