The overall accommodation experience at Bernie's is fantastic. The moment I entered I felt welcomed into their home. The location is in the dead heart of Castlebar, so all the big bars and activities are just a mere minutes walk! Bernie is also great for a chat and can provide a lot of information surrounding the area.
Be careful with that ceiling in the upstairs hall, even tho I was told about it I still managed to get a awful bang off of it... being 6.1 could have been the problem tho...

Bernie’s place is comfortable and clean. I met Bernie when I arrived and he was very friendly and welcoming and had an abundance of information about what was available in the town. The location is very central although there is no onsite parking there is a car park very close. It was easy to book and the stay was very convenient. I’d definitely stay here again

Location was good. Owners patience because of train delay.
Bathroom facilities are not really ideal. Having to get into a bath to have a shower in this day and age not really good , too much noise from the road. other than that, the facilities were fine.
