Haida owned and operated, this spacious home features an outdoor fire pit area, open layout, air conditioning, wrap-around deck, and three cozy bedrooms for up to six guests. Immerse yourself in Haida culture with the next door museum. Cafes, BC Ferries, groceries and more are minutes away. Experience the magic of coastal living and Haida hospitality in this oasis.
The Space
This single-level home is nestled amidst the trees, perched on a cliff overlooking the beauty of the ocean and islets below.
With an open-concept layout wrapped in windows, you can enjoy the breathtaking views from every angle. The spacious living area is the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring, while the fully equipped kitchen is ideal for preparing a meal to be shared with friends and family around the 8 person dining table.
Sip your morning coffee while enjoying the panoramic views, or step outside onto the deck and adirondack chair sitting area to listen to the waves crash the shore below.
With three cozy bedrooms, this home comfortably accommodates up to six guests, making it perfect for families or groups of friends.
Please note that only one bathroom includes a shower, the second bathroom features a bathtub.
The location couldn't be more ideal – just a two-minute walk to the Haida Gwaii Museum and Heritage Centre, where you can immerse yourself in the rich cultural history of the Haida.
Need a caffeine fix or a delicious meal? Jags Cafe is also within a 10-15 minute walking distance, offering great coffee, breakfast, and lunch options. Plus, the BC Ferries terminal is a short 3 minute drive away. Our home is located up a hill so the walk to and from the highway does involve an incline and gravel road - we recommend all guests have access to a vehicle when staying at our home and for general travel on Haida Gwaii.
Situated halfway between Daajing Giids and Skidegate, you'll find yourself close to all the main amenities, restaurants and attractions, while still enjoying the tranquility of a private home in the forest.

We had the pleasure of landing at this wonderful property by happenstance. It was precisely what we needed and didn’t even know it!! It’s funny how things work that way in life. If you are in a place in your life where you are ready to be welcomed by Haida Hearts, please consider staying at this stunning property. (If it’s available!)We were saved by the property owner’s mother when we had a rental car mishap that left us dead in our tracks. Waneeta was a saving grace and swooped in to ensure we had groceries for the night, saving a mother in distress. And to go beyond this, she makes the most delicious cookies ! Thank you so much! It was so appreciated, beyond measure. The home itself had ample room for each of us to find our vibe. The master suite was amazing. The heated floors in there were so lovely during our winter stay. There were plenty of places to retreat back and restore from, while gazing outward to the water view. It’s stunning. Exceptional. The island in front. The tides and current rushing past your viewscape. The patio was a lovely sunrise spot aptly situated with two Adirondacks. If you happen to have a clear evening you will be treated to something unlikely you’ve seen before. Clear stars and the etched face of the moon glowing back at you. Yah. It was that awesome!! #LuluWCLifestyle
