About this condo rental

Make yourself at home at our typically Parisian apartment on rue Caulaincourt, one of the loveliest, tree-lined streets in Montmartre. This spacious 3-bedroom apartment (100 square meters - 1076 square feet) is perfectly suited for families and groups, with three separate bedrooms, a large bathroom with a shower/bath combo, and a separate WC (toilet room). Two large bedrooms have queen-sized beds and built-in custom closets, while the third bedroom has two twin beds and a large armoire. All bedrooms are located off a hallway and insure privacy and comfort for all guests. The living room area is huge, with a large dining table and buffet one one side and a comfortable salon area for relaxing. Street views from the windows are perfectly Parisian - pull up a chair and watch the world go by! Bathroom includes combination tub/shower, vanity area & storage; basic toiletries provided. WC (toilet room) is separate and next to the main bathroom in the apartment. Both the WC (toilet room) and main bathroom are located off the central hallway in the apartment so all bedrooms can easily access the bathroom without disturbing anyone. If you need to work, no worries! You'll be connected with WiFi Internet access and also have free calls to landlines in most countries from the apartment telephone including the US, Canada and Australia. The architecture along rue Caulaincourt is irresistible, as are its boutiques, bistros and bakeries! The supermarket is just next door, too! We hope you'll find all you need for a welcoming and comfortable stay to Paris, while immersing yourself in the history of this delightful neighborhood. Your metro station is Lamarck-Caulaincourt on the 12 metro line and is less than a 5-minute walk from the apartment.

Only good things to say about this Paris apartment-- Paula and Ida were fabulous to work with and even adjusted our checkout time by a couple of hours so we wouldn't have to lug our suitcases around on our last day. The location is ideal- we started every morning with pan au chocolat from the bakery across the street. One night we picked up wine a couple blocks down, cheese from the fromagerie across the street, baguettes from the bakery and fruit from the market and had an amazing dinner in. Easy access to bus and metro. Comfortable and charming flat for our family of six. Could not have asked for more of our holiday in Paris! Merci!!!

We loved our stay on rue Caulincourt! This apartment has generously sized rooms, and a cute little kitchen. There is a great bakery just one door to the right and a well stocked grocery store just one door to the left which made it very easy to buy everything needed. The metro stop is just a few minutes away.

We enjoyed our time very much. Yasmin was so sweet and welcoming. So close to Sacre Coeur and the patisserie was my haven.Things to know: 1. The cab ride from the airport was great but do not count on a ride back. Even with trying to reserve a ride the night before we came up empty. So plan your reservation the minute you settle into the apartment or plan to use the train which was just fine. You can download the G2 app and that can help to reserve without having to call while you are there 2. Definitely get the navigo decouverte pass. It covers from Monday to Sunday (so if you land on Saturday do not get it - get daily passes until Monday and get the week coverage then). Just be warned - you DO NEED a picture (1”x1.5”). The main metro will not give much notice at first but if you use the RER (the ones that take you out of Paris like the airport) they will fine you 50 euros for each one without a picture. They will do it! 3. Buy all your tourist passes ahead of time. The lines were long for Eiffel Tower and the Louvre. We didn’t even make it to Versailles as we didn’t have tickets. For these 3, definitely get them ahead. Also, book the musee d’orsay ahead, too. Otherwise , the arc de triumphe was fine as well as the musee des armee invalides and the petite palaise was free and very small line. There is a website called ‘get your guide’ but they charge way above the ticket prices. Overall, great experience at this home. We will return! Thank you!

We loved everything about our time in this apartment. It felt like we were really experiencing the local life in Paris. It was a wonderful place to explore all of Paris with kids with easy access to the train and so much to see within walking distance. I highly recommend!

Overall and for the price it was a lovely place to stay. Yasmin, who met us at apartment was lovely and very helpful. The apartment is very dated and being on a busy street with a restaurant next door it is quite loud. Maybe most places are like this in Paris. The cafe next door is Amazing and there are two metro’s close by- about 10-15 min walk. Overall it was an wonderful trip.

This place is in an fabulous location, easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. The apartment itself needs some repair. The hat rack and couch in one bedroom were badly broken,. The place was very worn with recent repairs showing with exposed wall and pipes in the bathroom.. a coat of paint and basic repairs would go a long way. The apartment was charming in many ways, but needs some TLC. The greeter and check in was super helpful and accommodating,.

This was our first trip to Paris and I couldn't imagine a better place to start! The was a great apartment in a great neighborhood - all of the shops within view, let alone walking distance - bakery, grocery, wine, cheese, butcher, chocolate plus restaurants and cafes. And the same for the adjacent blocks. Our first day included a walking food tour of the neighborhood and I'd recommend that to everyone for this or any neighborhood you stay in. Access to the Metro was a short walk away and we took that to the Louvres, Eiffel Tower, Arc and museums. I'm looking forward to going back
