About this condo rental
Make yourself at home at our typically Parisian apartment on rue Caulaincourt, one of the loveliest, tree-lined streets in Montmartre. This spacious 3-bedroom apartment (100 square meters - 1076 square feet) is perfectly suited for families and groups, with three separate bedrooms, a large bathroom with a shower/bath combo, and a separate WC (toilet room). Two large bedrooms have queen-sized beds and built-in custom closets, while the third bedroom has two twin beds and a large armoire. All bedrooms are located off a hallway and insure privacy and comfort for all guests. The living room area is huge, with a large dining table and buffet one one side and a comfortable salon area for relaxing. Street views from the windows are perfectly Parisian - pull up a chair and watch the world go by! Bathroom includes combination tub/shower, vanity area & storage; basic toiletries provided. WC (toilet room) is separate and next to the main bathroom in the apartment. Both the WC (toilet room) and main bathroom are located off the central hallway in the apartment so all bedrooms can easily access the bathroom without disturbing anyone. If you need to work, no worries! You'll be connected with WiFi Internet access and also have free calls to landlines in most countries from the apartment telephone including the US, Canada and Australia. The architecture along rue Caulaincourt is irresistible, as are its boutiques, bistros and bakeries! The supermarket is just next door, too! We hope you'll find all you need for a welcoming and comfortable stay to Paris, while immersing yourself in the history of this delightful neighborhood. Your metro station is Lamarck-Caulaincourt on the 12 metro line and is less than a 5-minute walk from the apartment.

Only good things to say about this Paris apartment-- Paula and Ida were fabulous to work with and even adjusted our checkout time by a couple of hours so we wouldn't have to lug our suitcases around on our last day. The location is ideal- we started every morning with pan au chocolat from the bakery across the street. One night we picked up wine a couple blocks down, cheese from the fromagerie across the street, baguettes from the bakery and fruit from the market and had an amazing dinner in. Easy access to bus and metro. Comfortable and charming flat for our family of six. Could not have asked for more of our holiday in Paris! Merci!!!

We loved our stay on rue Caulincourt! This apartment has generously sized rooms, and a cute little kitchen. There is a great bakery just one door to the right and a well stocked grocery store just one door to the left which made it very easy to buy everything needed. The metro stop is just a few minutes away.

We enjoyed our time very much. Yasmin was so sweet and welcoming. So close to Sacre Coeur and the patisserie was my haven.Things to know: 1. The cab ride from the airport was great but do not count on a ride back. Even with trying to reserve a ride the night before we came up empty. So plan your reservation the minute you settle into the apartment or plan to use the train which was just fine. You can download the G2 app and that can help to reserve without having to call while you are there 2. Definitely get the navigo decouverte pass. It covers from Monday to Sunday (so if you land on Saturday do not get it - get daily passes until Monday and get the week coverage then). Just be warned - you DO NEED a picture (1”x1.5”). The main metro will not give much notice at first but if you use the RER (the ones that take you out of Paris like the airport) they will fine you 50 euros for each one without a picture. They will do it! 3. Buy all your tourist passes ahead of time. The lines were long for Eiffel Tower and the Louvre. We didn’t even make it to Versailles as we didn’t have tickets. For these 3, definitely get them ahead. Also, book the musee d’orsay ahead, too. Otherwise , the arc de triumphe was fine as well as the musee des armee invalides and the petite palaise was free and very small line. There is a website called ‘get your guide’ but they charge way above the ticket prices. Overall, great experience at this home. We will return! Thank you!

We loved everything about our time in this apartment. It felt like we were really experiencing the local life in Paris. It was a wonderful place to explore all of Paris with kids with easy access to the train and so much to see within walking distance. I highly recommend!

Location, location is fabulous!

Overall and for the price it was a lovely place to stay. Yasmin, who met us at apartment was lovely and very helpful. The apartment is very dated and being on a busy street with a restaurant next door it is quite loud. Maybe most places are like this in Paris. The cafe next door is Amazing and there are two metro’s close by- about 10-15 min walk. Overall it was an wonderful trip.

This place is in an fabulous location, easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. The apartment itself needs some repair. The hat rack and couch in one bedroom were badly broken,. The place was very worn with recent repairs showing with exposed wall and pipes in the bathroom.. a coat of paint and basic repairs would go a long way. The apartment was charming in many ways, but needs some TLC. The greeter and check in was super helpful and accommodating,.

This was our first trip to Paris and I couldn't imagine a better place to start!
The was a great apartment in a great neighborhood - all of the shops within view, let alone walking distance - bakery, grocery, wine, cheese, butcher, chocolate plus restaurants and cafes. And the same for the adjacent blocks.
Our first day included a walking food tour of the neighborhood and I'd recommend that to everyone for this or any neighborhood you stay in.
Access to the Metro was a short walk away and we took that to the Louvres, Eiffel Tower, Arc and museums.
I'm looking forward to going back

Fabulous location and plenty of room to relax when at the property. My husband, 21 year old twin daughters and I all loved our stay!

The apartment is remarkably quiet and cozy considering how busy and fun everything is outside your window and just downstairs! We were able to both wander the area and find great cafes, bars and bistros as well as get cabs and access to Metropolitan stations within minutes. Maybe my favorite stay in Paris yet and definitely a future booking upon return!

Location was amazing and the bakery downstairs and the grocery store next door made it easy to access for all our food and wine needs. My family of 5 loved the apartment and how accessible it was to metro and bus station. This made is to easy get around in Paris and see this lovely city. Christmas in Paris was and is the best place to be for Christmas. Thank you. The Burns Family!

This property was exactly as advertised and suited our needs perfectly. We had two mid-70 ladies, one lady 57 and one lady 30 in our group. Each of us had the space that we needed and wanted. The check-in process was very throrough with excellent materials left on site for reference. The agency was available if needed (which we didn't but was a comfort). The apartment was well-equiped with everything needed to make the stay pleasant. The location was also perfect and in a new neighborhood for us which was really nice. Although the street is busy, the owners have invested in quality windows so you can enjoy the city in whatever fashion you wish. We would stay again.

My husband and I traveled to Paris with our four teenage daughters in September. This condo in Montmartre could not have been more perfect for us! The bakery right next door supplied us with an endless amount of treats throughout our stay. We all looked forward to breakfast in the mornings! Location-wise we were very close to the metro so could easily get anywhere in the city we wanted to go. There are plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance, as well as a grocery store, fruit stand, and pharmacy. The owners were very responsive and helpful with advice and travel tips. We appreciated the little touches of home they left for us! I highly recommend this property!

Wonderful apartment in the lovely Montmartre section of Paris. A perfect introduction to Paris for our daughter and son. Thank you so much for everything!

We all enjoyed our stay in Montmartre. Check in and welcome was excellent and very efficient.
The flat is charming and very well equipped. It has a great French vibe. We stayed when it was very hot and appreciated all the fans provided.Beds were comfortable as was the furniture in lounge.
The only negatives are that we expected 2 bathrooms and there is only one so maybe you need to look again at description. Also the bathroom is a little tired and not up to modern standards.
I would love to return as this is a beautiful part of Paris where we felt safe and welcome. Also has great public transportation. We used the bus and Metro a lot.
Many thanks Paula and team

We loved staying at this lovely apartment in Montmartre. The apartment feels spacious, with plenty of room for our group of six adults. Comfortable bedrooms, an inviting large dining table and a pretty living room. Windows that overlook the tree-lined Rue Caulaincourt. The kitchen is small, but efficient and allows the rest of the apartment to feel so big.
Rue Caulaincourt is such a charming street with shops, restaurants and pastries. There is a grocery store right below the apartment which makes life so convenient. There is street noise, but it wasn't a problem for our group.
Montmartre is a beautiful neighborhood, with so many interesting streets and the beautiful Sacre Coeur. We enjoyed shopping, eating and walking in the neighborhood. Also the subway is 5 minutes away. So, it was easy to get to the main Paris sites as well. (It is a neighborhood on a hill - good for people who enjoy walking)
We also took the Paris Walks tour of the Montmartre neighborhood. So much interesting history.
The apartment hosts are really nice to work with. They made everything easy.

Our family enjoyed this lovely apartment in the Montmartre neighborhood. Although it was easy to travel throughout the city the neighborhood has a very cozy feeling. The nearby cafes are small and interesting. The various markets and pharmacy’s are nearby. The best bakery is right next door. I could look out of our kitchen window and see exactly when they would open. Those warm croissants were heavenly. There was often a line of over ten people waiting to go into this charming shop. The apartment is laid out well and the instruction manual very helpful. It was a short walk to Sacre Coeur but the crowds surrounding this famous attraction did not seem to overflow into the neighborhood. We would return to this lovely apartment in the future.

This flat is set in one of the historic districts of Paris. Access to the trains and buses were easy walks, even with luggage and children in tow. The Sacre-Coeur area with breathe taking and so unique. Having a grocery store and patisserie on either side of the location was glorious. The only draw back was the night time noise outside (weekend nights especially). I would highly recommend this flat and we would stay there again next time.

I can't speak highly enough of Paula's communication and advice and also that of Karina who met us to welcome us. First class service!
The apartment has bags of vintage charm - as long as you are fine with a relatively dated kitchen and bathroom. All perfectly functional though and no problem for us. Beds were very comfortable and the rooms are spacious. It does front Rue Caulaincourt and there was a bit of road noise and from people outside the bar opposite on the Friday night, despite the heavy duty windows and shutters. But nothing too bad for a big city.
The area is just wonderful. Easy access to the city on the metro but a much more peaceful neighbourhood, with the streets up to Sacre Coeur lacking the incessant traffic that can mar other parts of Paris. Monnaie is the only central area we saw that could compare in that respect. Amenities on the doorstep are numerous: a renowned bakery, butchers, greengrocer, cheese shop, supermarket and several restaurants all within a couple of hundred yards.
We had an excellent time and highly recommend the apartment and especially Montmartre as an area.
