Cotswold Bankview

We loved the great location right on the high street in Moreton-in-Marsh; very convenient to shops, restaurants, and the train station--yet because the rooms are set back a bit from the street, it is very quiet and relatively private. The little courtyard is used by the other rooms, but each room has a small sitting area outside that was very pleasant, and situated with light screening for a bit of privacy from the other rooms. The room was small (cozy!) but cute. There was a nice basket of snacks plus coffee/tea available.

The twin room is pretty small, so be aware if you have large luggage--you won't have much room for it. We were traveling fairly light, but still found it tricky to place our things so they were out of the way. One of the mattresses was fairly firm, but the other was quite soft; something to be aware of if that's an issue for you. Note that the shower and toilet are situated in such a way that anyone entering the room from outside will encounter the glassed shower stall immediately upon entering. We found the room to be a little bit damp-ish (we were there in early autumn). We initially had an issue with the shower not draining, but we were able to clear it ourselves, and when we messaged the staff to make them aware, the staff were very responsive and accommodating.

A lovely little bolt-hole to stay in and explore the Cotswolds. Great location, quiet and set back from the High Street, with each room having its own designated outdoor area. Hosts were very quick to reply to correspondence and accommodating requests. There was no physical contact with them, but comprehensive check-in details meant this wasn't necessary. All went very smoothly. Lots of sweet touches; information about the local area, welcome hamper and water provided.

Although 'stylish' the fact the shower screen/enclosure did not meet and fully enclose meant that the bathroom floor was made wet after showering.

it was like the pictures showed it - the location is great and in general we did fine. Bed was comfortable and bathroom and shower worked good.

Windows don't open, so it felt very stuffy and even though there was a fan, we had to keep the door open to get some fresh air. It was a bit cramped for two people, not a lot of room for luggage but we managed.
