If you’re traveling to Siargao—whether as a solo backpacker or with friends—Rucksack Inn is easily one of the absolute best places to stay on the island! Located in General Luna close to Cloud 9, it hits the sweet spot between an energetic, social atmosphere and a relaxed, comfortable home base.
There is always something happening here, with daily and nightly activities that make it impossible to feel bored. The common area—especially around the swimming pool and the volleyball court—is the heart of the hostel and makes meeting fellow travelers completely effortless.
The entire staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, but a huge special shoutout goes to Sri. Sri went above and beyond to make everyone feel right at home from day one, bringing unbeatable high energy to every activity.

Everything - the people, our private room, the nightly events, the coffees. Thank you to Andrea, Joy, Karen, Ben and the lovely boys on the bar (the one who referred me as Princess Jasmine, love you and your kind energy). You guys made our trip awesome! And gearing to come back next year.

The space. It’s really spacious for us.
The bathroom. It’s dirty and they really need to clean it properly. There were stains on the walls and floor too.
