We had a lovely four-night stay at Ael y Bryn. It’s a really peaceful property, with excellent air conditioning, a wonderfully fancy electronic shower and, of course, the hammock! The pint of milk and bara brith were thoughtful touches, too.
It was also lovely to chat with Maggi, who was very friendly and generous with local information.
A few small additions would make it even better: placemats or heat-resistant mats would be useful for hot dishes straight from the oven, and the kitchen was a little sparse on cooking equipment, although workable for our four-night stay - just to bear in mind if staying longer/keen cook. The internet was also a little prone to buffering sometimes (TV).
Overall, a lovely, quiet base with some particularly nice touches.

We'll definitely be back!!
Leaving...we'd celebrated our 36th anniversary there and decompressed from our chaotic life looking after elderly and ill mums on both sides...didn't want to come home 😞
