This is a fantastic apartment - our family of four two kids, 14 and 11) loved it. The rooftop terrace is amazing with sea, town and hillside views all day and night. And there are balconies overlooking the street on 2 additional levels as well!
The location, about 3 buildings back from the beach on mostly pedestrianised cobbled streets was awesome. We walked to/from the train station and it didn't take too long - and the walk was part of the joy, don't think you have to be closer to transport.
The beach is fantastic - we always had room on the public area closest to the apartment (in July). The kids jumped off the wharf all day.
Heaps of restaurants within the old town.
The apartment was very clean and the hosts were excellent at staying in touch - we were even allowed to check out later than required as our train left in the early afternoon (Thank you!!).
Some reviews have complained about access to the apartment - the doorway is narrow and steps (up 2 levels to front door access) are steep, but you just have to be prepared for this and take it easy/and shuttle bags up. If you need an elevator, find an alternative. Our kids loved it, especially when we said we'd been in smaller and steeper stairways (Amsterdam!)

Alt var fabelaktig! Kommunikasjon med utleier, innsjekk, beliggenhet, selve leiligheten, behagelige senger og en vidunderlig takterrasse med nydelig utsikt. Det sto til og med en hvitvin i kjøleskapet da vi kom!! Kan det bli bedre? Det er en veldig lang og bratt trapp som fører opp til leiligheten, så det krever at en ikke er dårlig til beins, men for oss var dette en vinner! Takk for oss!!
