I can't imagine staying at a better guest house! From the moment I arrived I was made to feel so welcome. I felt like I was staying with family and felt that way more and more every day. The room was spacious with plenty of space to put my things and the bathroom was very clean and everything worked well. Breakfast was delicious and Barno were happy to make vegetarian food upon request. The location feels very safe, as does everywhere I went in Samarkand (and Uzbekistan in general) and is very close to Registan Square. But the best thing about the guest house is definitely the wonderful hosts!

The location was great. It was a short walk to the Registan Street, and the main attractions. The guest house was full of character and the hosts were too. I had a big room with a window on to the street. The breakfasts got better and better every day, they were delicious.
Thr bathroom was small.
