Loved the fact that the very friendly owners are environmentally and animal friendly. The rooms had plant milk as default, which is a nice change! The place has a very homely feel with a well stocked fridge and help-yourself breakfast, again with plenty of plant based and healthy options, including freshly picked blackberries.

The house has charm and flair, and the owners' love for the property is evident in many details. Breakfast on the first morning wasn't great (stale croissants and plastic-wrapped bread rolls). After we mentioned this, the breakfast improved significantly from the second day onwards (with fresh juices, croissants, and cheese). Marianne's generosity regarding the drinks was wonderful, and we gladly accepted it.

However, the photos on Booking and the website show the house in a newer condition than it actually is. The location right next to the main road was convenient for transport, but very noisy.

Good location, although traffic a bit annoying in the morning. Breakfast delicious. Dog provided for very well! Very attractive house.

Messages sent to me by email and not text, so I didn't get them. Loft room VERY hot, helped a little by fan. Boards creaky, heard next door people creaking about.
