Lovely Welsh welcome, high quality chalet

The chalet was excellent. Much better than expected. The wraparound area around the caravan was a bonus and the campsite was very quiet in the week.

There is no easy footpath to Newport. You look on the map and assume you can walk by the main road, but not possible. There is a footpath but you have to do a big round to get over the river and takes about 45 minutes walk. Taxi was £10 each way for a 4 minute drive so have a think about whether you want to eat out every night or without a car
