I would definitely recommend it if you have a car. I am not sure about public transport but I think there are some options as well. very cozy, super clean and comfortable apartment. it has everything you need to feel as you really are in the chilling mode. you don't have neighbors so the chances of noises are reduced but at the same time there are some houses around so you don't feel isolated. it feels safe. the roads can look like quite a thing, but actually they are well maintained and the views are stunning! we did it with a small rental car and it was absolutely fine. just about 15 mins from Varenna. the vibe in the village is nice and local, ideal for getting out of the touristic world and have a proper rest.
taking some time for reading a book in the balcony while enjoying an early morning coffee, the calm atmosphere of the Italian country side and those views in front of me after a nice night of rest in a comfy bed is one of those moments that I really appreciate in trips and are only possible if the apartment allows it.
The hosts are super nice, responsive and make the access very easy in terms of indications and keys.
Nothing bad, just make sure you have everything you need when you get to the apartment because spontaneous groceries or going for a coffee while your partner takes a nap is not the handiest approach.

El apartamento es precioso, cuidado hasta el último detalle y decorado con muchísimo gusto. Es muy cómodo, tiene prácticamente todo lo necesario para disfrutar de la estancia y las vistas al Lago di Como son sencillamente increíbles. Un lugar de esos en los que apetece quedarse disfrutando del alojamiento.
Los anfitriones fueron encantadores, muy atentos y disponibles en todo momento. Nos dieron indicaciones muy claras y nos ayudaron con todo lo que necesitamos.
Aunque está situado en una zona elevada y tranquila de Perledo, una vez aparcado el coche hay una parada de autobús a unos 10 minutos andando, lo que resulta muy práctico para desplazarse sin tener que utilizar siempre el coche.
Echamos de menos una lavadora, especialmente en una estancia dentro de un viaje largo.
También hay que tener en cuenta la ubicación: precisamente por estar en una zona elevada y disfrutar de esas vistas, el acceso en coche se realiza por una carretera de montaña bastante estrecha y con muchas curvas. No es un problema una vez te acostumbras, pero puede impresionar un poco la primera vez.

Appartamento molto bello, con cucinino, frigo, microonde. Bello il bagno con doccia molto grande e con il bidet.
Purtroppo non c’è l’aria condizionata, ma solo un ventilatore che ovviamente non fa abbastanza per rinfrescare tutto l’appartamento soprattutto nelle giornate e nottate molto calde come quella in cui abbiamo soggiornato noi. Per chi non arriva in macchina e quindi non ha possibilità di portare una spesa dal supermercato, si ritrova in un borgo con tre case e due B&B senza un bar per poter fare l’indomani un po’ di colazione. Peccato non averlo saputo dalla proprietaria perché ci saremmo organizzate diversamente. Non sapevamo nemmeno che il ristorante sotto l’appartamento fosse chiuso, quindi anche per la cena ci siamo trovate spiazzate. Fortunatamente c’è un servizio navetta serale che porta giù a Varenna, anche se per raggiungere la fermata abbiamo dovuto camminare un po’.
È molto scomodo per chi deve raggiungerlo a piedi, i mezzi di trasporto si fermano lontano e bisogna fare una bella camminata in salita. Quindi non lo consiglio per chi non ha la macchina.
