The location was great for us and parking right by the door suited us well. The decor was nice. And the brook in the back garden is lovely.
Would like a firmer mattress although that could be personal choice. The sofa in the lounge as quite low, and not easy to get up from. Especially for anyone with mobility issues.

Location was nice and quiet with a pleasant outdoor area, ideal for what i was looking for with two work colleagues.
If there were complimentary tea/coffee/ milk it would have been perfect. There was coffee but a one pint of milk would be a nice touch.

Lovely and compact, a great place

Unfortunately we checked in but didn't stay at the property due to one of our party feeling ill, so we decided to continue our journey home. The host was very responsive and clear communication and friendly when she popped out after I messaged to say we would be checking out early.
As mentioned above, we didn't stay so I can't comment on comfort. We did however notice that the property wasn't as clean as we would expect, and it was also a factor in our decision to leave. The skirting boards and corners of shower were dirty. Some of the towels were dirty and bed linen was very worn and thin. The property is located on a housing estate, not in the countryside as it appears in the pictures. We wouldn't book to stay in future.
