Loved the location. The caravan itself was beautiful. I took my dog with me and the extra touches for both myself and my dog were lovely. Dog bowls, towels, treats for her and a lovely treat for me. The bed was extremely comfortable. Having stayed in other caravans I prepared myself by taking washing up liquid, tea towels etc but everything you could possibly need was all there to use (I’ll pack lighter for my next stay) Communication with the owners was also excellent.
I couldn’t fault it.

Communication/Hosts -
Id have to say one of my main points would be the communication, the hosts communicated throughout before our arrival, we asked if we could get in early if for any reason the caravan was cleaned and ready as we were doing ay 8hr travel through the night with kids, nothing was to much trouble, they did everything they could to get the caravan ready early and i truly cant thank them enough
First Impressions -
Arriving to the little personal touches were just wonderful, and more than id ever seen in the past, the extra games and books, the milk and juice in the fridge to the PROSECCO !!! like wow , there was a lovely coffee machine and pods , a little emergency basket, the caravan was equipped with absolutely everything you needed.
The Bed/ Sleep-
The main bed was incredible, im suffering from shoulder pain and awaiting surgery and i even managed to get some sleep which speaks volumes.
The Location-
This was perfect for us, we could just see the lovely lake and it was definitely a quieter part of the site (just what we like ) we spent most evenings wondering down to the fishing lake for a few hours, its a 5 min drive to Crannock Beaches carpark (£10 all day) . lovely dog walk to the beach too if you prefer walking - also best beach in cornwall esp for dogs and weve been coming over 20 years.
Fishing Lake -
2 Wonderfully stocked lakes, very well looked after , and we even had the luck of about 6 carp in the week ! Was defiantly a reason to return for us.
Id say the only thing id mention just incase others missed it like we did (not that it bothered us at all) the bar on site its tiny i maybe didnt read properly so we thought we had maybe a big bar to go to its still lovely and has a little beer garden but just incase some travel for the pubs (we didnt) - not so much a criticism more just a heads up :)

I can’t recommend this property highly enough. It’s spotless & beautifully decorated & has everything you need. Lovely welcome pack, games, jigsaws & books were a lovely surprise. The bed was comfier than my one at home. Location wise it’s perfect, in a quiet part of the site overlooking the lakes, worth an evening stroll round to see the wildlife.
The pool (which you need to book so it doesn’t get over crowded) is really warm & kept really well, there’s also a crazy golf, games room & playgrounds which kept my kids busy.
It’s also a great location for exploring local towns, didn’t love Newquay itself, bit busy for us, but nearby Crantock & Holywell Bay were wonderful, would recommend the golf course there.
The owners were so helpful & easily contactable, can’t wait to go back. Sitting on the decking is a little piece of heaven.
Only negative, which has nothing to do with the property is that the local buses were a bit hit or miss, but once on them not far in either direction to interesting places.

Absolutely beautiful holiday home. The owners really made us feel welcome, with lots of personal touches. Very well equipped and clean. We couldn't fault a thing, thank you
