You will be staying in 'DolphinSmile', a luxury condo sitting on the seawall of Galveston Island. We invite you to share our fun creation, a playful dolphin theme for the family while still saving a little luxury for you. Pamper your senses with soft new leather and sandy-beach colored tile. The over-sized master bedroom has a wonderful water view from the king-size bed. The other bedroom sleeps two in a queen size bed. The hallway area hosts 2 adult sized bunks. The leather sofa sleeper folds out for 2 more. Enjoy! This condo also has a convenient washer/dryer. Save food budget in your fully equipped kitchen. Wherever you choose to stay, I hope you bring home many special Galveston memories. Agreement: * Responsible party over 25 must show photo ID when checking in * No events or parties (including Spring Break or Prom) * No hidden fees or additional taxes. * Clean, fresh air only. No smoking or pets allowed. * Upon arrival, the Maravilla front office will collect a parking/swim band fee, credit card only. If you're planning to bring your dog, please inform us about the type and weight for approval. A non-refundable pet fee of $150 plus tax applies for two dogs up to 35 pounds each. Kindly add 'PET' to your reservation. 3. Parking Information: Ample covered and uncovered parking is available at the complex. A fee of $10.00 per car per day plus sales tax is applicable. Note that the office does not accept cash. Trailers are allowed only during special event weekends and are subject to the same rate as cars. Parking rates are capped after $70.00 for a 30-day period. 4. EXTENDED STAYS Monthly rentals are considered in the off-season - Winter Texans, snowbirds, retirees, corporate stays, medical professionals, university students and plant workers are welcome. Extended stays or monthly rentals require a stay of 30+ nights, and these reservations are tax exempt. This is an immediate savings of 15%! Although most extended stay reservations are between the middle of November through February, extended stays may be considered anytime between Labor Day and Memorial Day. Extended stay reservations may not be placed online so please message us with your request.

This condo was perfect for our family Christmas trip! Everything was exactly as described and pictured. We had plenty of room for family of 6. Everyone had their own bed-always a plus. The kitchen was just like home with plenty of pots, pans and utensils. On top of all that, Dave was an amazing host and had great communication. This is definitely the place to stay in Galveston!

We stayed at Dave's property with myself, my mom, my brother and his family. We were easily able to fit our large group in the unit. I looked at other units within this complex and couldn't really tell them apart online. After having been there, I can say that this one is likely one of the best. It is on the end and the top floor, so probably among the most quiet. It has great views of both the gulf and the surrounding area (windows on two sides of the unit). The kitchen was well-stocked. The only downside we noticed was the balcony railing seemed a little loose (so we kept the littlest kids off of the balcony). Would definitely stay again!

My sister, myself, my daughter and her friend stayed 10/19-10/21. The property was just as described, beautiful. We had everything we needed and more during our stay! Dave was very communicative with any and all questions we had! Would definitely stay there again. Thank you!

Overall, we had a great stay! When we arrived one of the elevators was down, which was challenging getting our luggage upstairs to the third floor. The next day we were able to find other usable elevators so didn’t have to take the stairs! The condo was great and very clean! I wished we had been able to use to balcony more but the mosquitoes were horrible in the evening! So that kept us inside instead of being able to enjoy the sounds of the ocean! He pools were great and we might have been the only crazy people in the non-heated most days but the kids loved the pool with the island! Thanks again for everything!

This is a wonderful beachfront condo in a well-maintained complex. Anything you can think of was supplied. I appreciated that there was an elevator and we didn’t have to walk up to the third floor. Beautiful poolside and beach views from the balcony.

Everything was perfect and Dave was very informative, so much so that I didn’t even have to ask about anything during our stay! The pools were great - you can even see one of them from the balcony so we let our teenagers go down and we stayed upstairs! Beach is right across the street and the view from the balcony is amazing! They are doing some renovations to the front of the building, but it doesn’t impact where the condo is.

We loved our time at this condo, and wanted to extend it, but when you are in an amazing condo, it stays booked. I can't think of a single thing that our hosts could have provided that was lacking. Coffee, condiments, amazing decorator touches that you don't always find in rentals. These hosts are stars!

This is by far the best VRBO experience I’ve ever had. The condo was extremely clean and organized. The kitchen and bathrooms were well-stocked. We had everything we needed and more! It was so nice to wake up in the morning and have coffee and cream available. Extra linens for the sofa bed and dinette bed were clean and crisply folded in labeled bins in the closet. The view of the ocean from the balcony and primary bedroom were amazing! And the communication from Dave was outstanding. He checked in with us throughout our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. I can’t think of a single thing that could have made our stay more comfortable. I will book with Dave again on our next trip to Galveston!!

This condo was exactly what I needed for my family and I! Everything we needed was available for us from trash bags, to laundry detergent, to every cleaning supply you could think of!!! And the views were spectacular!! My kids favorites were the pools (of course) and all the games that were available for use!

The condo was very clean and everything you need is there. The condo is at the back of the property which I liked because there was better parking for a truck. My youngest daughter loved the pool, and there was plenty of room. The hot tub area is small but we didn’t use it so no problem. There were people grilling by the pool which I thought was nice, and there are tables to sit at. The property is at the more quiet end of the beach but driving down Seawall Blvd. is easy enough. You could also rent anything you could possibly need including ATV’s if you want. We really enjoyed Murdoch’s, a gift shop that was huge. We also went to the Pleasure Pier at the other end of the beach that was a lot of fun and ate at Bubba Gump’s. All in all it was a great trip and the condo was a great stay!

This condo was beautiful and so well stocked with Everything you could pissibly need. The patio was huge and we loved looking out at ocean. It was so Clean. Even big beautiful towels. We will be back. The people were awesome and friendly. This is a great place to stay. Loved the paintings haning in shower. Made me smile!

The old grandparents decided to take the very young grandkids away for a few days. We checked in after hours without issue. The condo was very clean and comfortable, exactly as described. Things are labeled so you don’t need to hunt around for things. The pools and grounds were well maintained. Walking to the beach with two little ones was easy. Communication with Dave was great. He provided us with everything we needed to know about the condo before checking in and checked in with us during our stay. There are some renovations taking place at the front office area but it did not affect anything during our trip We will definitely book Dolphin Smiles again.

Dave’s unit is very nice and impeccable clean, just as other reviews have indicated. Beds were comfortable and bedrooms were spacious for the 4 of us. I did lots of research as to the best location to stay on the island and we were happy with this location. Close enough to most things and not too far away. My husband and I enjoyed our walks each morning down the seawall. While there isn’t “beach” directly in front of the Miramar, its only a short walk to get to beach area. Whether you walk to the right or to the left you get different scenery along the seawall. We enjoyed watching surfers by the Pier and also recommend dinner at Jimmy’s Pier. The actual building that Dave’s unit is in…leaves a little bit to be desired, but his unit itself was great! The pools were kept clean and we enjoyed using them.

Not only was this the cleanest and well stocked beach condo I’ve ever rented, but Dave went above and beyond to make sure we had every question answered and made us feel very welcome. Everything was very comfortable and set up perfectly to have an 18 month old running around. The balcony is huge and has plenty of seating. Couldn’t have asked for anything better! Great pools and good proximity to beach. It was very convenient to have Jimmy’s on the Pier close by for meals and happy hour! Would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our time at this condo. My kids were over the moon to see a bunk bed, and when my husband and I wanted some peace and quiet, we very much appreciated the TV in the second bedroom. The kitchen was well stocked, even with aluminum foil and ziplocks that came in quite handy. The highlight, though, is the property manager. He was so welcoming, and I left feeling that I'd gained a friend simply due to his warm and open communication. We'll definitely return!

Great property, was a bit hesitant as I usually rent only houses or cabins, but was pleasantly surprised at the layout and location. Host Dave is very good with communication and will answer any questions you may have. Overall I was impressed with the cleanliness and the views are great.

Just as pictured - this place was a highlight of our road trip. I wanted a beach themed property to enjoy on our trip to the ocean - and not just the regular hotel chains - this property totally delivered! My kids were so thrilled and so were we. The kitchen had really nice cups/silverware/knives/ appliances/lighting - everything - all were in lovely condition. The kitchen had everything we needed - even to the details of having a little tote in the closet with IKEA kids dishware - which was brilliant! Travelling with 5 kids - IKEA cups and bowls are my go-to! HURRAY! Dishwasher and Laundry facilities were a major seller. I loved that little necessities like dish soaps/dish washer pucks/ plastic bags etc. were all readily available. The bunk bed was so fun, my kids loved it! The dressers and furniture are all in great shape and I was so happy that everything looked A+ ! Lots of closet space and the towels are LUX - really thick and fluffy - a great plus! Not having to rough it at all - no unhappy surprises! The balcony overlooks the heated pool which was lovely and it was great to watch my family swim while I was making dinner etc. The heated pool was a perfect temperature as well as the hot tub - so that the whole family could enjoy it, and there is a bathroom right there which was convenient! There is a huge secondary pool location that is unheated - so we couldn't enjoy it in January - but we want to come back again in the warmer weather to use it - because it looks SO pretty! but the heated pool right near the room was lovely and we enjoyed it every day! We would gladly return again. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful property with us - so we could explore Galveston Texas with our family! 5 Stars!

We loved being out of the hustle and bustle, but still being close enough to jump back in when we wanted! Property looks exactly like pictures. Clean, and lots of storage! We utilized the pier that is located near by and caught multiple fish! Galveston was one of our favorite family vacations, part of the reason being we had a great place to come back to after all the “fun!” Lots of memories made for our family (2 adults, 4 kids) and we would gladly stay in this property again!

Dave was a great host. Unit was lovely and view was great. Family group had 2 units. This was definitely the best one, head and shoulders above the other unit (different owner). We would def return to this unit or any of Dave’s units when visiting again.
