Perfect little cabin in the woods! If you want peaceful and private surroundings but closeness to activities and festivities, Goldfinch Cottage is for you. There is close proximity to some of the best quality, award winning wineries in the eastern U.S. Even if you don't drink wine, they offer micro-brews, light fare, good entertainment and beautiful scenery. So pack a picnic basket, bring your dog (most are pet friendly) and support your local wineries!
Goldfinch Cottage has the perfect rustic vibe with a tin roof, stacked stone wood-burning fireplace and modern amenity kitchen. GC offers an outdoor firepit, Jacuzzi hot-tub & BBQ grill, horseshoes & cornhole and a short 15 minute walking trail to finger of Carter's Lake!
Come for a week or come for a weekend, we invite you to relax in solitude while rocking on our front porch, listening to the leaves and watching the natural wildlife pass you by.
Another amenity we have to boast is a close proximity to some of the best quality, award winning wineries in the eastern U.S. Even if you don't drink wine, they offer micro-brews, light fare, good entertainment and beautiful scenery. So pack a picnic basket, bring your dog (most are pet friendly) and support your local wineries!

It is a lovely secluded cabin! It was so clean and welcoming and the communication with the owners (Victor) was excellent. We went for a short get away weekend for some peace and quiet and this cabin delivered very well. As the owners indicated, it is off the beaten path (very accessible by car) and we did bring in the basics for breakfasts and dinners plus supplemented from our outing on Saturday. We were able to visit downtown Cartersville with small local business shops and dining, but could have as easily gone to Ellijay or Blue Ridge. Jasper is the closet town and we stopped at the grocery store there for supplies before heading to the cabin on Friday. The kitchen is well stocked with all the basics plus the toiletries in the bathroom were appreciated. Both the husband and I had a wonderful time and recommend this cabin if you want a good get away place to stay.
