Ci porteremo un bellissimo ricordo di questo posto: durante questo viaggio in Sicilia abbiamo alloggiato in diverse strutture e questa sicuramente è quella che ci è piaciuta più di tutte, tanto che abbiamo deciso di fermarci una notte in più. Bellissima accoglienza, ci siamo sentiti come a casa, la titolare molto gentile e sempre disponibile per qualsiasi cosa. Consiglio vivamente di prenotare il giro in barca di Vulcano organizzato da loro.

Abbiamo trascorso tre giorni all’Affittacamere Afrodite e ci siamo trovati benissimo. Fin dal nostro arrivo, la signora Piera è stata gentilissima e sempre disponibile, consigliandoci attività interessanti e ottimi locali dove mangiare.
La vista dal balcone è semplicemente spettacolare e ha reso il soggiorno ancora più speciale. Anche la posizione è molto comoda: la struttura si trova vicino al centro, ricco di locali e ristoranti.
Un’esperienza che consigliamo senza esitazione e che ricorderemo con grande piacere. Grazie ancora alla signora Piera per la sua gentilezza e disponibilità.

Der Service
war im Vergleich zu allen anderen B&Bs unserer Sizilien-Rundreise leider der schlechteste. Von den Gastgeberinnen kam keinerlei proaktive Information, und beim Check-out gab es große Probleme: Offiziell soll dieser zwischen 9 und 10 Uhr stattfinden, jedoch war niemand vor Ort, und trotz mehrerer Anrufversuche nahm niemand ab. Den Schlüssel mussten wir schließlich einfach stecken lassen. Erst später über Booking.com erhielten wir eine Nachricht, dass es angeblich „ein Problem“ gegeben habe – diese Information hätten wir direkt um 9 Uhr erwartet.
Die Lage
ist sehr abseits: Man muss gut 15 Minuten bergauf laufen, und in der unmittelbaren Nähe gibt es keine Bar oder Möglichkeit zum Frühstück. Auch die Minibar ist so klein, dass man sie nicht für ein eigenes Frühstück nutzen kann.
Im Zimmer waren viele Ameisen.
Das Bett ist kürzer als 2 Meter, was für größere Personen sehr unbequem ist.
Für Frauen (oder generell alle Gäste), die sich schminken möchten, ist die Beleuchtung ein Problem: Das Licht im Bad ist sehr schwach und der Spiegel im Zimmer hängt in einer dunklen Ecke.

Unfortunately, the service was the worst compared to all other B&Bs on our Sicily trip. The hosts provided no proactive information, and check-out was very problematic: officially it should take place between 9 and 10 a.m., but no one was present, and despite several calls no one answered. In the end we had to just leave the key. Only later via Booking.com did we receive a message saying there had been a “problem” – this information should have been given to us directly at 9 a.m., not afterwards.
The location is very remote: you have to walk about 15 minutes uphill, and there are no bars or breakfast options nearby. The minibar is also so small that it cannot be used for preparing your own breakfast.
There were many ants in the room.
The bed is shorter than 2 meters, which is very uncomfortable for taller people.
