Beautiful location, very nice view. Very big room. 3 comfortable double beds (we only used one). Good washroom. Quiet (except for the neighbour's barking and howling dogs for about 15 minutes). Friendly host.
We arrived mid-afternoon and it was like an oven in there. The a/c was off, even though they had just cleaned the room and knew we would be there 20 minutes later. The a/c took a long time to get going (10 minutes before the air started coming out cool, no exaggeration. I thought it was not working properly and was ready to cancel), and longer, of course, to cool the room. It's such a big volume that it would require 2 a/c units (a second one on the mezzanine), but there's only one. IMPORTANT NOTE, however: this is only a problem in the afternoon, and even then, the room temperature can be ok in about 45 minutes (for the ground floor. I didn't check the mezzanine where the 3rd bed is. It might still be hot. It's far from the a/c unit and warm air going up and cool air going down...). The rest of the day (morning, evening, night), it's cool enough outside that you don't even need the a/c (this property is up in the mountains and exposed to the sun). In conclusion, absolutely not a deal breaker, just something to plan for (if you need to be in the room in the afternoon). It's a very nice place.
