The Palace was exceptional! Beautiful! The owners gave us a tour and the history. We wanted to stay here because of this! I wish we could have stayed longer than one night. The room was big and updated. The palace is just amazing.
The location is a little hard to reach by car. Since we are from the US we are not used to navigating the small streets with the car we had (not a tiny one). The owners did give us directions but our GPS decided it wanted to go its own way. The owners helped us get there!! And it was worth it!

An opportunity to live in a beautifully renovated magnificent 18th century palace, and be pampered by the lovely noblewoman and her husband. Not far from the beautiful mosaics at Villa Romana.

It's an extraordinary privilege to stay in this wonderful ancient palace in the heart of Piazza Armerina - Raffaella and Claudio, who inherited this family home and have lovingly restored it, could not have been more welcoming and generous. They supervised parking (no easy thing in these narrow streets), shared excellent eating-and-drinking recommendations, and gave us super-abundant breakfasts. The rooms are comfortable, with all modern conveniences, and the atmosphere of the palace is soothing and timeless amidst the bustle of the town. It's the perfect base to see the glorious mosaics at the Villa Romana nearby - which should be at the top of anyone's list of things-to-see-in-Sicily. Just magic!
