Absolutely gorgeous B&B, from the entryway to the upstairs dining room to the spectacular view from the terrace room. Remodeled with utmost care and quality and attention to detail, with beautiful tile floors and splendid decor. Cristian was an extremely communicative and helpful host and shared recommendations for parking very close by. The highlight was being greeted and shown around by his dad, and since they were kind enough to let us in early, we were then invited back at 2:00 for granita and limoncello with he and his lovely wife (dad is a whiz at Google Translate). We still have plenty to see and do on this trip but I’m certain the welcome visit with Cristian’s mom and dad will be one of the most memorable highlights.
As others have mentioned, only staying 1 night.

Nos alojamos una noche en el B&B Dàmur como base para visitar la Villa Romana del Casale, y fue un acierto total.
Ubicación inmejorable, en pleno centro histórico, con vistas al Duomo desde la terraza propia de la habitación. Edificio recién restaurado, habitación y baño amplios, super cómodos, muy bien decorados, y con frigobar con agua y cerveza incluidas.
Lo que hizo la diferencia fue Cristian, el anfitrión. Esa noche había desfile medieval y era difícil conseguir parking: nos consiguió un buen lugar, dejó ahí su auto guardándolo hasta que llegáramos, y nos acompañó hasta el edificio. Mientras hacíamos el check-in nos tenía preparada granita casera de limón y algo rico para picar. Nos recomendó y ayudó a reservar restaurante, donde comimos comida típica muy rica y desde donde vimos pasar el desfile.
El desayuno fue espectacular, variado, regional y casero. Al partir, nos preparó una vianda y nos regaló una postal de la Villa Romana como recuerdo.
Nos sentimos muy cuidados de principio a fin, con una atención a los detalles que hizo toda la diferencia. Recomiendo muchísimo este B&B, y también Piazza Armerina y la Villa Romana del Casale: todavía no es un destino masificado, así que vale la pena aprovechar este momento. Una verdadera joyita en el centro de Sicilia.
Nos quedamos cortos! Nos tendríamos que haber quedado al menos dos noches para disfrutar no sólo de la Villa romana, sino para pasear un poco más por Piazza Armerina, que resultó ser muy linda!
