Nothing to complain about. Even a separate shower and bathroom in a hostel/share house.

Well equipped and cosy room
Really considerate host, allowed us to store our luggage for free for an extra few hours

The address provided brought us to a different street. We quickly found it by typing the name of the inn instead of the address into google maps

Good location - easy transport and near big supermarket. Walkable distance to Nijo Castle. Traditional stay, which was nice. Big bathroom compared to other places we stayed in.
Didn't like that the shared laundry was in our private bathroom and the shared dining space didn't have an area to easily dry washed up dishes.
Had a bit of a run in with one of the neighbouring guests who invaded our space. They opened all the doors of our unit and peered in at us, took our clothes out of the washing machine and were super loud, despite signs to be quiet during certain times. I know this second point is not to do with the host, but it definitely brought down the experience.
