lovely host, welcoming and kind. The cottage is located in a very quiet area, at a short driving distance (15min) from beautiful sandy beaches and costal paths. There is a military range nearby, but the shooting was in no way loud or disturbing, contrary to previous reviews. The property has a beautiful garden, shared with the owner but plenty of private nooks, very well kept and cozy, perfect for an afternoon break while reading a book. The cottage has everything you need for a week away, kitchen is well equipped. We travelled with our spaniel and had no issues. Please note that the garden is not fully-fenced, so you might want to keep your dog on a lead if their recall is bad. Otherwise very quiet and safe area, would have stayed longer and will definitely return!
Nothing. The stay was perfect. The cottage can get hot quite after midday in this heatwave, but breeze from the sea and the fan help cool it down quickly.

Tower cottage was everything we wanted for our break. It was comfy and welcoming. Clean and tidy. Couldn't fault anything.

Thank you Cathy and Philip for making us feel welcome at Tower Cottage, such a brilliant idea to renovate into a bright, tastefully furnished, studio apartment. We loved it, the garden was beautiful with good views and local to where we wanted to be. Witnessing the military armered training was a bonus. We would definitely recommend and will be back to stay again one day.
