Another seat would be good .4 beds ,2/3 seats in living room New and bigger towels would be nice .More toilet paper please

The ground-floor apartment was well located, with the train station and centre of York both within easy reach, which made getting around very convenient. It was comfortable and had the basic amenities we needed for our stay, including a washing machine and airer. The apartment was spacious enough to have washing drying in the lounge without taking over the room! The host was also responsive when we got in touch to flag a few items. Overall, it provided a comfortable and convenient base for exploring York.
A welcome or information pack with some basic instructions for the apartment and building amenities would have been really helpful. It took some trial and error to work out how to operate the hot water for the shower, and we may not have got it quite right as we received a note from a neighbour about water leaking. Clear instructions would have avoided the uncertainty.
A couple of maintenance items - the carpet in the lounge had lifted at the join with the kitchen, creating a potential trip hazard. The bean bags also had holes in them, resulting in some time spent chasing rogue filling around the floor!
The kitchen was minimally equipped. We didn't attempt to cook a full meal, but there was limited crockery and glassware - to the point that we ended up drinking beer from a wine glass! A few additional kitchen basics would make it more functional for guests wanting to self-cater.
Overall, relatively minor things but they would make an otherwise comfortable stay even better.

The location was great.quiet but very near to everything of interest. Parking is a huge bonus in York and we had a great time, ghost walks, a tour of the Minster, a walking tour of the centre which was volunteer run , free and wonderful . We also found some great restaurants.
My only constructive suggestion was the sitting room needed a couple of tub chairs. The apartment caters for four guests but the sofa only accommodates two. There are two bean bags, but at our age (late 70’s) had we used them we would probably still be trying to get up now.
