Property was clean and spacious we booked this site purely for the club house facilities mainly the swimming pool but we arrived on Saturday for 4 days to be told on Sunday the pool is closed until wed which was very annoying as that was our entire stay and due to the horrendous wet weather our outlet to keep a 3 and 6 year old occupied this was due to a fault but imo when your renting during peak season this should of been fixed quicker than they said, I have to say that Brian who manages the property went out of his way to see if we could use another campsite swimming pool but as it was high season it wasn’t possible for us to do that so very disappointed grandchildren my 3 night stay wasn’t cheap so felt let down but no fault of the company .
I have stayed on Hobourn before in a better location this location was not as quiet as the traffic flow past us was constant and people coming home from the clubhouse were quite noisy with small children it was quite noisy.

We needed somewhere to stay that us married folks could share with husbands brother and our female friend. So 2 toilets and separate rooms. This static caravan ticked those boxes. The caravan was very clean.
I had to contact the owner. The details say that you will get an email a week before. I didn't. It came the day before we left. I had to ask about the leisure facilities and the use of them. The FAQ stated that you have to be members to use the facilities. I text the owner to ask about it. You have to give him your names and ages for him to get you passes. I asked about what was provided in terms of the essentials - tea/coffee etc. He said 'I provide a welcome pack, but best to bring your own tea/coffee'. The welcome pack was 4 milk sachets and a couple of tea bags and coffee sachets.
We didn't even have toilet roll in each bathroom. The hand soap dispensers were empty too. The washing up liquid was watered down to almost be of no use at all and there weren't any cloths or sponges to wash things up with. We were only there for 2 nights, I didn't expect to have to provide such things myself. I took some toilet paper from the cafe toilets and bought washing up liquid. sponges, hand soap and bin bags. I also bought foil to use in the grill. My choice, but made using the grill a hell of a lot easier than to wash the whole thing up. There were no instructions on how to use the oven/grill/hob. We eventually worked it out. No bin bags was odd too. We have stayed all over the country for weekends and never found a place as sparsely kitted out.
No instructions, leaflets or help about the Caravan site itself. Was there a shop? what times did the leisure place open, does it have lockers that need coins? no details on the cafe? no details of evacuation meet points. Local sites, restaurants, map to the beach. nothing. I left the foil, and other items I bought, including 4 toilet rolls! so the next people don't have to go through what we did.
The single beds were so narrow, my brother in law said 'you can't turn over in bed, you have to 'flip' yourself over or you'll be on the floor.
