We loved our time at this property and would definitely recommend others to visit during their time in Panama.
Sure, the lodges are a little rustic in places but they are perfectly comfortable.
The setting in the lake is beautiful, with a great pool, free kayaking facilities and places to completely switch off. I loved how calm and relaxing the place was.
Most importantly, the staff are superb. Friendly, attentive and fantastic hosts. We felt well looked after here. The food on offer was great, and food & drinks reasonably priced.
Top tip would be to make sure of the kayaking and boat trips. Definitely book the Monkey Island trip – we loved this trip and made the stay even more memorable.

We absolutely loved this place, it’s such a lovely setting and the pool is superb. Crystal and the staff were lovely and so sweet with our young son. The food and trips are fantastic. A brilliant place to stay.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The best part is being on Lake Gatun. One morning we used a kayak to paddle a short way into the lake. It is really beautiful and relaxing. We like bird watching, and this is a great spot.
The food and drinks were good and fairly priced.
The only caution is that this property is on several levels, so there are quite a few stairs to get around. But this resort is so special, the steps were worth it.
