We stayed at Nexa Townhouse Villas as a family and had 3 villas booked during our stay. Overall, we really enjoyed our time here. The villas were beautiful, clean and well looked after, and I especially loved that housekeeping came every day. The staff were also very lovely and helpful throughout our stay.
There were just a few things that could be improved. Personally, I wasn’t a fan of the dark floorboards in the bathrooms. One night I also found a small green centipede crawling on my partner’s shirt that had been left on the bedroom floor. I’m extremely scared of insects, so although my little sister removed it for me, I honestly struggled to sleep comfortably in the room after that. I’m still not sure how it managed to get inside.
We also had a couple of maintenance issues across the villas. In Villa #9, our sliding door was quite wobbly and so it was always a worry when opening and closing - we were being very careful with them after noticing that issue. In Villa #3, which my parents were staying in, the entrance sliding door had an issue where part of the hinge/mechanism became stuck in the lock. Luckily my dad is a handyman and was able to fix it himself, although I had contacted the property manager about it. Their villa also had quite a large air-conditioning leak. My parents switched the aircon off and contacted the staff, but we had scheduled activities that day, so I’m not sure whether it was repaired afterwards. Same for villa #6, towards the end of our stay - we came home from being out all day to find my sisters makeup and stuff she left on the table in front of the mirror all wet which was the leak coming from the air con.
One thing I would definitely recommend guests to be aware of is the laundry pricing. I had a relatively small amount of washing done through the villa, which was returned in two bags, and it cost me around AUD $50. In comparison, my sister had a much larger amount of laundry done outside the property for only around AUD $12–$14. Our driver was even able to drop it off and collect it for her, so that was a much better-value option.

Friendly butler service, picture same as reality, gorgeous building and location was near canggu padel courts. 1 right beside. Bed comfy, water heat up fast. Awesome high ceiling and lounge area at living room.
None. Only 1 maybe, was that we are only allowed 1 room when villa has three. We are two pax but would be good to have the whole villa. They locked the room

- Great location, central to everything yet very quiet atmosphere
- great staff , very polite and knowledgeable
- a few details in the villa : comfortable beds, nice bed linens, nice robes(we wanted to buy some but we’ve been told it was not possible yet unfortunately), great kitchen equipment, beautiful central table in the kitchen
Well below our expectation as a “luxury stay” in Bali.
Poor finishes in the villa ( white walls paintings from the living room to the downstairs bedroom: big marks, finishing not clean )
Cleanliness ok but way below the level requested for the pricing (marks on the mirrors at the entrance / marks on the windows visible from the outside / marks on the couch/ cloudy plunge water outside on the terrace / cigaret butts from previous guests between the wooden planks on the terrace/ fingerprints with makeup on the bathroom and bedroom doors).
- very noisy fans during the night
- very poor quality of door-frames : The sliding window in the downstairs bedroom was not operational: it did not lock properly, and had obviously been forced open previously. Same for the main sliding window at the entrance, very hard to lock.

"Exactly as advertised. A bit secluded from the main streets of canggu. It’s spacious and usable for a family of 4. TV has Netflix. They clean everyday around noon. No complaints"
