Fantastic cottage , peaceful garden to relax in after a long day out walking the area. Walking distance of all shops walks and pier .
The property could do with a little update .No sparker for the gas hob,only a box of matches which isn’t the safest. Hedges could do
With a trim back at front door , making the key box more accessible.

Was a large cottage and it provided all the aminities that were required for a weekend stay. The garden with ample exceptionally the drive was big and me and my friends thoroughly enjoyed the hike up. And also it was in a very great location it was secluded peaceful very quiet had some very nice neighbours who were quite welcoming.
There's nothing bad about this place the only thing I didn't like was it was a bit of a steep climb to get to the cottage from the town center if you're walking by foot but me and my friends are youngish middle age men and it took the wind out of us it was fun.

A lovely bungalow in a quiet, scenic setting within walking distance of the shops and cafes in Ambleside. Very nice large modern kitchen.
On arrival the property was very cold because the boiler had stopped working due to low pressure. We phoned Sykes who arranged for a plumber to get the boiler working again. The plumber said that it had happened before. So we had heating during our stay but the hot water never got hot enough for a bath. The electric shower didn’t have enough water pressure to have a decent shower. We found the mattresses too soft.
