Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le contact simple et authentique avec notre hôte, nos échanges avec lui, ses informations très intéressantes sur la genèse du lieu. Le cadre, celui d'une résidence épiscopale remontant au 15ème siècle est exceptionnel, restauré avec un immense soin et meublé avec un goût sûr et un grand raffinement de mobilier et d'objets rapportés du Moyen-Orient, qui s'harmonisent parfaitement avec des pièces plus locales, conférant à l'espace une personnalité spéciale ouverte sur l'ailleurs.
La salle de bains, très spacieuse, au beau décor, comporte une grande baignoire carrelée, avec des rebord imposants : enjamber pour y entrer et en sortir est une opération plutôt délicate !

L’architettura e l’arredo del palazzo sono davvero ricercati. La colazione con prodotti sempre unici e locali. L’accoglienza e la disponibilità di Basil che ci ha consigliato dei luoghi da visitare incantevoli. La posizione in pieno centro storico di Forcalquier. Non é possibile definire questo luogo come un “hotel” oppure come “alloggio” oppure … oppure…è molto di più: un’esperienza!

The property is a treasure trove of beautiful art pieces and furniture.
It’s right in the heart of the town and we felt privileged each time we walked through the old wooden door.
Stairs can be a challenge for those with poor mobility or eyesight.

Absence de climatisation ou de ventilateur adapté en cas de forte chaleur ce qui est le cas dans cette région l’été .
